Award Reason
Dr. Yanbo Zou has been devoted to the Monte Carlo simulation for secondary electron emission and related standardization of microbeam analysis during her graduate course at the Laboratory for Microstructure of Solids, University of Science and Technology of China. Particularly, her work on the evaluating critical dimension by CD-SEM was one of the most important cornerstones for the development of the international standard “Microbeam analysis - Scanning electron microscopy - Method for evaluating critical dimensions by CD-SEM” (ISO 21466).
Profile
Dr. Yanbo Zou, currently working as an associate professor of the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, Xinjiang Normal University (XJNU), was born in Jun. 1981, entered the Physics Department at the USTC in 2012, joined the Laboratory for Microstructure of Solid to work with Prof. Zejun Ding on the Monte Carlo algorithm. She received her PhD in condensed matter physics in Nov. 2017. She is also a director of the Physics Experiment Teaching Center, XJNU. Her research interests include interaction of electrons with matter and computational materials science.
